Perform 'till you drop

The concert of the Belgian band "Vive la Fete" on 18.10.2013 in the paard:
Vive la Fête is a Belgian music group from Gent formed in 1997 by Danny Mommens (guitar, vocals) and Els Pynoo (vocals).
The group is also popular in the fashion world, where Karl Lagerfeld is one of their fans, and has enlisted them to perform at a number of his big shows.
The singer Els Pynoo gives all her energy in the show
I wonder how many days she needs afterwards to recover
Without her energy the show would have been half as interesting

Guitarist Danny Mommens is of the great long-haired rock type, and so the band finished off with a couple of rock numbers, while Els retreated to recover

Roel van Espen plays keyboards, Gino Geudens the drums and

Ben Brunin Bass
A really great show... recommend it!

Troublemakers

"Nelson can" and "Yes sir yes" in the Patronaat in Haarlem

SELINA: LEAD VOCALS + extra

SIGNE: BASS + vocals
MARIA: DRUMS + vocals
The band operates with several dogmas and a very noticeable one of them is that they don’t use guitars. The sound is original and "to-the-bone" simple, inspired by rock and punk bands like the White Stripes, PJ Harvey, Gossip, the Black Keys and Dead Weather.
The set-up with only drums and bass creates the perfect frame for the simple, yet very powerful minimalistic bluesrock inspired sound.
With charismatic singer Selina Gin in front, the music is taken to new heights when she roars out through the speakers with a power and confidence that has captivated audiences all over Europe.

Oh Mayhem

is the title of the latest, 10th album of the Indie rock band "Bettie serveert" from Amsterdam

Yesterday the band gave a highly energetic and dynamic concert in the paard
Their name translates to "Bettie Serves", or "Service to Bettie", which is the title of a book written by Dutch tennis player Betty Stöve, who made it to the Wimbledon ladies singles final in 1977
The band is formed by Carol van Dyke, Herman Bunskoeke, Berend Dubbe and Peter Visser

There must be an eternal frustration of the drummer to have to stay in the background...

can we get 9 beer for the band, please....

Cuccurullo Brillo Brullo at Speakers in Delft on 30.11.2012
Cuccurullo Brillo Brullo was formed in 1998 by a group of musicians, who met to listen to and interprete  music of Frank Zappa (1940-1993).
The band consists of singers Reinier Parengkuan and Ron van der Kraan (ex-The Walkman) and the gituarists Derk Groen (ex-Anouk, ex-Q65) and Paul de Jong.
Evert Willemstijn plays bass guitar in the band.
Saxofonist Boris van der Lek (ex-Golden Earring, ex-Hans Dulfer) and drummer Arie Verhaar also frequently take part.

The music are not real covers of Frank Zappa, but rather free interpretations with a lot of dynamic soli of the different, excellent musicians.
In juni 2005 the band released a first CD ZapsurditieZ. It was a big success and two month later the band appeared at the Zappanale, an international Zappafestival in the east German town Bad Doberan. Ther thez also played with Ike Willis, who was one of Zappa's guitarists and singers from 1978 until his death in 1993.
